Current Research Interests

Overall, I am the Lab Manager for the Heroy Geology Lab, the home of the Department of Earth Sciences at Syracuse University. My Current working title is Senior Research Specialist and I am responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometer Lab, the JEOL Scanning Electron Microscopy Lab, the ARL XRF and Phillips XRD labs, and the Light Stable Isotope Lab. I also assist Laura Webb and Suzzane Baldwin in instrument design and implementation in the Noble Gas Mass Spectrometry Lab. I have many research interests in the field of Geochemistry - these include the use of isotopic systems as indicators of Crustal evolution, Fluid and Mineral Inclusion studies, Sr ChronoStratigraphy, Stable Isotope Sytematics in both high and low temperature environments, trace metal speciation studies...to name but a few.
