RESEARCH INTERESTS
I am from Southeast Massachusetts, and went to Syracuse University originally majoring in Aerospace Engineering, then switching to Geology in my junior year. My undergraduate research focused on the Finger Lakes, specifically Skaneateles Lake. I received my B.S. in Geology in 2007, and then stayed at Syracuse to work on my Masters. My research interests are sedimentary basin evolution, recent climate change, and effects of sediment in lake ecosystems.

Other interests:
I enjoy backpacking, traveling, going on field trips, swimming, and of course, rock collecting. When I’m not outside, which is where I prefer to be, I enjoy reading and watching movies (I am a movie fanatic).
