BIOGRAPHY and RESEARCH INTERESTS

I am a native Upstate New Yorker from outside the Albany area, more specifically the hamlet of Averill Park. I have played competitive sports including soccer, basketball, softball and rugby almost my entire life. I have a younger sister whom I am very proud of. She is currently attending SVA in New York City for film editing.
My dissertation is aimed at applying low-temperature thermochronology (apatite and zircon fission-track and apatite (U-Th)/He techniques) to address the timing of uplift along the Alaska Range. In combination with these techniques I will investigate the depositional history recorded in sedimentary basins adjacent to the Alaska Range through the use of detrital zircon fission-track thermochronology.
