RESEARCH INTERESTS

I am interested in using low temperature thermochronology (fission track and (U-Th)/He), 40Ar/39Ar dating, and structural geology to investigate tectonic problems.

My current Ph.D. research is focused on applying thermochronology, geochronology, and structural methods to help constrain the tectonic history of the East Gobi Fault Zone in southeastern Mongolia with Dr. Laura Webb (Syracuse University) and Dr. Cari Johnson (University of Utah).

For my M.S., working with Dr. Paul Fitzgerald, I applied apatite fission track, apatite (U-Th)/He, and brittle fault analysis to better characterize the denudational history and landscape development of the Adirondack Mountains, NY.
