Research

My research addresses whether increasing concentrations of metals and ligands associated with background down gradient of a landfill can be from the landfill and if so, can it be shown. My research will encompass several landfills in Wyoming.

My work also includes water sampling in the southern tier of New York State to establish a baseline of water quality prior to hydraulic fracturing. This work is with Project SWIFT, which aims to identify the impact of hydraulic fracturing in the state. More information can be found at swuft.syr.edu.
