Research and Teaching Interests


My research interests include using heat as a tool for quantifying stream water-groundwater interactions as well as process-based computer modeling of hydrologic systems.  For my MS research, I am building a one-dimensional transient heat budget model that will model stream temperatures through space and time.  I am interested in exploring the sensitivity of stream temperature to meteorological, hydrological, and geological drivers, especially in climatically sensitive systems.
